Privacy Policy

RealCarCost's calculators run entirely in your browser. The figures you enter — car price, deposit, APR, and so on — are not sent to or stored on our servers; they exist only in your device's memory for the duration of your visit.

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which calculators are used and how, via anonymised, aggregated usage events (e.g. that a calculator was viewed or a comparison was completed). We do not track the specific figures you enter into a calculator.

We don't currently offer user accounts, and we don't sell personal data. If we introduce a document upload feature (a "Deal Decoder") in future, any uploaded quote will be processed to extract figures and deleted automatically afterwards, unless you explicitly choose to save it — that policy will be confirmed in full before the feature launches.
